Banana bread is solid. Provided that you have a good recipe, a reliable oven, and a bowl, it just won’t fail you.
I feel like everyone makes banana bread pretty much the same way, but here’s my recipe:
½ cup unsalted butter
1 cup sugar
3 ripe bananas
1½ cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
½ tsp vanilla
Cream together butter and sugar.
Add eggs, smashed bananas, and vanilla to the bowl and mix.
Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Only mix until just combined- don’t overmix this one!
Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350° for 55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
